Article Acceptance

There are many aspects of an article that are vital to acceptance by a scientific journal. Two key aspects are conveying a strong, balanced and novel research conclusion and following the publication’s editorial guidelines. Any paper dedicated to describing a recent study should present a valid, logical, unbiased and novel conclusion. Did certain medications or procedures make a scientifically significant difference in patients who received the treatment? Did patients in one study group behave in a radically variant manner from those in a control setting? The important area to emphasize is what the research suggests and how it might be used going forward. Another critical factor in having a paper accepted for publication is adherence to publication guidelines. With many competing articles submitted, editors do not have time to fix the formatting for every entry. Arrange the final version of the paper in the structure used by the journal to assist the editors in reviewing the actual content so that they do not need to focus on the formatting.
